Koh Libong
Located at Tambon Libong. It is the largest island in Trang Sea. There are area of 25,000 rais. Around the island filled with sea grass, which as food of "dugongs" (Sea
Cow) mammal animals that are extinct.But will be found a lot near Koh Libong area and also have seen Bottlenose dolphins dwell a lot.
Koh Libong has been announced as “No Hunting area of Libong Islands” and the office area located at Laem Ju Hoey(Ju Hoey Cape).Around the island there are many places to visit such as Haad Toob(Toob Beach), Laem Ju Hoey(Ju Hoey Cape),Laem Thuad(Thuad Cape),Laem Toh Chai(Toh Chai Cape),Haad Ya Kha(Ya Kha Beach), etc.
All sandy beach of Koh Libong are sandy beach mixed peaty beach. Koh Libong almost non tourism beaches.But at the end of Koh Libong is Laem Ju Hoey and Haad Toob that the vast sandy beach mixed peaty beach when low tide can go to each other.
Which this area,there are many sea birds and wetland birds immigrants escaping winter from foreign in the Northern Hemisphere.Especially from Siberia and some parts came from Africa.Came a lot in November to December,came lived for a number of many kinds. A flock of sea birds have the hundreds of thousands such as Crab Plover which are often found in February to March,Nordmann's Greenshank and Sharp-tailed Sandpiper.On Koh Libong also has 
interesting many bird such as Spotted Wood-Owl,Blue-throated Bee-eater,Mangrove Pitta,Pink-necked Pigeon,Collared Kingfisher,White-breasted Waterhen,Little Heron,Whiskered Tern,Kentish Plover,etc. Koh Libong is the main source of tourists, a group of bird watchers that will take a boat rental out to see the birds. Or are watching the No Hunting area of Libong Islands. Which is governed that serves the protected birds this particular.
Koh Libong has villagers lived for a lot. Divided into three villages are Baan Ba Du Pu Teh(Ba Du Pu Teh Village), Baan Hlang Khao(Hlang Khao Village) and Baan Phrao(Phrao Village). Villagers also conduct the simple way of life. Such as fisheries,rubber plantations and a large coconut plantations as the main occ
upation. The majority of villagers respect Islam.
In addition, on the island also has Khao Tu Teh,located in the east
of Koh Libong. As limestone mountain height about 200 feet .On the mountain has viewpoint . You can see the sea meadows. Which as food of dugong. And may be able to see a dugong eat grass sea.And from Koh Libong overlooks the beautiful view of Koh Chao Mai and Laem Chao Mai. There are ships left the island every morning to Kantang pier and back about noon.
Travel :There are the passenger ships from Chao Mai Pier To Baan Phrao Pier on Koh Libong or charter boat. It takes 20 minutes. However, if travelers come from Kantang Pier. It takes about one hour, On the island with accommodation for tourists (in private).
Phraya Ratsadanupradit Mahisorn Phakdee Museum
Away from Kantang Municipal about 200 meters.Located at 1st. Khai Phithak Rd. Khuan Tamnak Chan Public Park
A place to relax and eco-tourism. Which has historical value.Located on Woodland Road. As part of the Kuan Kan Tang National Forest. With an area about 250 rais.The name of this place originated from a small palace built on low hills (Kuan) in order to wellcome to Kantang of King Rama 6(On time he still the rank of prince) on the year 2452(1909).Subsequently used as the officer certification house.
In World War II, Khuan Tamnak Chan used as the location of the military forces of Japan.After the war, various buildings have been demolished until leaving no trace.Later, the part area used to build Kantang Phitaya School.The hill has been renovated into a public park.Around the area shady by trees and flowers as a source of recreation.And as place of exercise in the morning and evening of Kantang people.On the hilltop has gazebo for relax. Overlooking Kantang City and Kantang River clearly.
